How do you guys use your platform to have a positive influence?

Both: Having a platform has its positives and negatives, but we really try to share our authentic and real selves while keeping our private life somewhat private. It’s really easy to let your platform become a highlight reel, but we like to be able to be honest and show our followers that we are just like them. We also have good days and bad days. Being able to have this relationship with our followers makes the good days even better and the bad a little bit better. We want people to be comfortable with who they are and to embrace the flaws that everyone has.

What’s your least favorite thing about social media?

Kelsey: I have a love/hate relationship with social media. I think what I hate most about it is that sometimes I feel pressured to post because it is my job. I really try to post authentically, but sometimes I have days where I just want to turn off my phone even though I feel guilty doing it.

How do you decide which brands to work with?

Stassie: I make sure that every brand I partner with is one I love and think my followers will love too. I make it a point to only work with brands that I truly like and actually wear/use. I would never promote or be part of a collaboration that I am genuinely not a fan of.

So many girls look up to you for fashion tips. What do you say the top trend is for 2019?

Kelsey: I think brands that focus on comfort and elegance are really going to make a come up in 2019. Printed silk shirts will also definitely be a staple piece.

You guys just moved in together — congrats! Do you think you guys ever spend too much time together?

Both: We love each other to death, but we definitely think by living together we occasionally get on each other’s nerves. We’ve only been living together for about a month and are still adjusting, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! Being able to go to our own rooms and nap, then walk into the living room to see my best friend is so much fun. Living together is like having a never ending sleepover, but with personal space.

What’s your favorite makeup look?

Stassie: My favorite makeup look is the “no makeup” makeup look — consisting of concealer, mascara and highlighter. Don’t get me wrong, I love a full-glam look, but my go to is more natural.

On IG, you have pink hair, black, long, short, and sometimes red. Do you think you’ll always switch your look? Which do you think is your best?

Kelsey: As everyone knows, I love to switch up my hair often and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. (As you can see I have blonde hair for this shoot.) Being able to change my hair color/style is a creative outlet for me. I love change and it’s a way for me to express myself. I think my favorite look to date is when I had baby pink hair. Right now, I’m keeping my hair closer to its natural color to let it breathe a little and grow, but I’m already planning my next color! You guys are gonna have to wait and see!

What are your plans for 2019?

Both: 2019 is the year of self-love! 2019 is all about finding ourselves and figuring out our paths in life. It’s about recognizing and only doing things that truly make you happy. We are both working on a few exciting projects that you will have to wait to see!
